Every website has some sort of navigation and it depends on webdesigner how he wants that navigation menu to look like. Having a flash menu is awesome; flash allows lots of cool effects which cannot be achieved using CSS or any JavaScript. Coding wise sometimes I prefer these flash menus because they not only look cool but also compact the coding in those cases where menus are big and contain lots of links.
Since no webdesginer is a jack of all and it’s possible that he/she may not know about flash much. Flasvortex.com is just the right site for people who don’t know Flash. It offers easy online flash menu generator with many templates. I found it useful for one of my project recently, but if you want to use it for commercial purpose, you may have to buy their subscription as they include a link back to their site in every flash menu generated from their site.
