Its really important to save time, and for freelancers saving time is not only making more money but also save time for other activities. Even when making a simple HTML site or a basic static site, we can spend time doing unnecessary things like making css and layout and then almost making those same things (but slightly differently) like home page, about page, contact page etc etc. We can cut down time by using blueprint. A site blueprint.org gives free download to css blueprint which you can use in your any project commercial or personal and really save time on making those website structures. Another thing, which you can use, is a CMS. Now instead of using a big CMS and spend time making it lighter for static site, I would suggest using blog scripts like wordpress which is very much customizable and can be used to build static websites (not blogs) as well. I have used wordpress in few static sites for clients and they still don’t know that it’s a blog script powering their website and why they should bother after all they are getting sites made faster.

This is a very neutral kind of logo, can be used anywhere for almost any type of business. This simple design can be recognized even when printed as a tiny image and this is one quality a good logo should have. While designing I had helicopters, wind mill and aviation company in my mind as I was watching Discovery channel that time LOL

Women’s are very choosy and when they shop, they select items very carefully and want nothing but the best. A friend of mine was looking for swimsuits and since she is a very shy girl, she wanted to buy it online instead of regular shop. She asked me which online shop is good. I was really busy that time so I told her few common names of online store. After few hours she calls me back telling that there is nothing interesting she found on those sites and I understood what she was asking was more online shops links.
This time I told her about ShopWiki.co.uk and guess what? She didn’t call back this time. Reason was that she got such a wonderful site where she had lots and lots of choices and fine products to look at that she was lost and enjoyed her online shopping for hours. She selected few swimsuits for that she needed for her swimming classes. Winters are coming so she bough winter style swimsuit that were especially made for winters, she was really happy with her purchase and I was happy that I was able to her this time too!
ShopWiki is amazing site and I always recommend it to my friends whenever they ask me where to buy stuff online. Its one site that you will ever need for all your online shopping needs.

Every website has some sort of navigation and it depends on webdesigner how he wants that navigation menu to look like. Having a flash menu is awesome; flash allows lots of cool effects which cannot be achieved using CSS or any JavaScript. Coding wise sometimes I prefer these flash menus because they not only look cool but also compact the coding in those cases where menus are big and contain lots of links.
Since no webdesginer is a jack of all and it’s possible that he/she may not know about flash much. Flasvortex.com is just the right site for people who don’t know Flash. It offers easy online flash menu generator with many templates. I found it useful for one of my project recently, but if you want to use it for commercial purpose, you may have to buy their subscription as they include a link back to their site in every flash menu generated from their site.

Windows 7 will be launched soon and I decided to make one wallpaper for it. It’s not a great one but may look good for few days when I upgrade to Windows 7. Upgrading to a new operating system brings many questions in mind and for me when I was small I thought my favorite computer games which work now will work on new OS or not and today things have changed, I worry about applications that I use daily for my work. This is one reason I never upgraded to Vista but Windows 7 comes with XP mode which means I am on safe side and I can upgrade without worrying about compatibility.
